1. Who we are

Riyoj Labs is an independent team. Nagarik Nepal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of the Government of Nepal or any of its ministries, provinces, districts or local levels. We aim for accuracy, but our data and content are provided as a reference, not as an official government source.

2. Using the Website and App

You agree to use the Website and App only for lawful purposes, and not to:

• Attempt to scrape, bulk-download, or reverse-engineer the Website or App beyond normal personal use
• Interfere with the Website's or App's operation, security, or availability
• Misrepresent data from the Website or App as official government output
• Use the Website or App in any way that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction

3. Content and intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the design, original text, and compiled datasets on the Website and in the App are owned by Riyoj Labs. You may read, share links to, and quote our content with attribution (a link back to the relevant page is appreciated) for personal, educational, or journalistic use. Bulk reproduction or republishing of our content or datasets as your own requires our written permission, contact us via the details in Section 9.

Some articles on our blog include photographs and other media licensed from third parties under their own open licenses (for example, Creative Commons licenses via Wikimedia Commons, or works dedicated to the public domain). Each such item is individually credited and linked to its license and source in the article. Those items remain governed by their own license terms, not by these Terms, and any reuse of them should follow the license and attribution shown in the relevant caption.

4. Accuracy of information

We source administrative data (provinces, districts, local levels) from Nepal's Central Bureau of Statistics, government gazettes, and Wikipedia's actively maintained reference pages, and we source blog content on current events from the news organizations, government statements, and encyclopedic sources cited in each article. Boundaries, names, and figures relating to Nepal's federal structure do occasionally change. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, we don't guarantee that everything on the Website or in the App is complete, current, or error-free, and nothing on the Website or in the App should be treated as legal, financial, or official government advice. 5. Third-party links and advertising

The Website may link to third-party sites (government portals, news sources, Wikipedia, and similar), and may, once our Google AdSense application is approved, display ads served by Google and its advertising partners. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites, or for the specific products or services shown in ads. 6. No warranty

The Website and App are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riyoj Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or App, including reliance on any information, data, or third-party content found on them.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Website or App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
