2. Reference data, not an official record

Directory and app content covering provinces, districts, local levels, wards, and related figures is compiled from public sources, including Nepal's Central Bureau of Statistics, government gazettes, and Wikipedia's actively maintained reference pages. It's intended as a convenient, offline-friendly reference, not as a substitute for an official government record. For anything with legal or administrative consequences (citizenship, voter registration, land records, and similar), always confirm details with the relevant government office.

3. Editorial and current-events content

Blog articles covering current events, politics, or unfolding news (for example, our coverage of Nepal's 2025 Gen Z protests) are compiled from named news organizations, official statements, and encyclopedic sources, with citations and photo credits included in each article. This content is offered for general informational and documentary purposes. It reflects publicly reported facts and direct quotations at the time of writing, not the personal opinions of Riyoj Labs, and figures such as casualty counts or election results may be revised by official sources after publication. Where that happens, we aim to update the article and note the change.

The Website links to third-party sources, government portals, news organizations, Wikipedia, and Wikimedia Commons, for citation and further reading. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, the content, accuracy, or availability of external sites once you leave nagariknepal.xyz.
